there’s a nice symbolism in Into The Spiderverse when Miles finally gets his suit because just after (RI)Peter’s death, he buys a SpiderMan suit that it’s too big for him and that’s because he is trying to fit in a role that’s, well, too big for him then. And that’s because he is trying to be Peter, he is trying to be like him, the one who died and even like Peter B. But he is not trying to be himself.
That’s why there’s so many different Spiderman’s and not just many different Peter’s: Spider-Gwen, Noir, Ham, Peni, all are their own character, their own individuals, and not just a different timelines of Peter, except for Peter B.
And it’s just when Miles finally accepts to make his own suit and stop trying to emulate the old Spiderman that the suit finally fits him.
